A lot of things made more sense to me this time. I wasn’t so eager for action or anything, so I could understand why people were acting in certain ways. I hated Mockingjay the first time I read it, but I loved it the second time.
I get that she was in complete shock and rightly so, I just wanted to know more about the people of 13 and the other districts. It makes me wish Collins would write novels that are the ‘folklore and history’ of each district haha

Katniss was really starting to irritate me in the third book though - all she did was walk around disregarding her schedule in which case it might have been of more interest to the audience if the writer had written about more about the social, economic and political structure of District 13 instead of the stationary supplies closet.
